Hello my name is Confucius. I was born in Qufu, China in 551 BC. I am a teacher and philosopher. I have strong social standards and beliefs. I saw that the social standards were declining in China during my time, so I decided to take a stand and share my beliefs. Self-discipline is very important to living a good life. It is the core value of my beliefs. My ideas influenced the people of my time and many generations to come. I try to lead the people of China by example. Besides the people having strong philosophy, there are many other reasons why China was the Superior Ancient Civilizations.

The first reason why China is the best civilization is the Silk Road. The Silk Road spread ideas and goods to many places. This trade route was created by my intelligent people. Goods and supplies are transported across this trade routes to places that had no easy connection before this time. The Silk Road connected Mesopotamia to the Indian Peninsula causing trade to take place between these two places. Along with goods, ideas were also passed through this trade routes. These ideas would lead to bettering our world and the human race.

Another great thing that came out of Ancient China was paper. The written word is so powerful and necessary to humans and society. My great civilization was smart enough to create an easy way to write down our history. Paper is much more efficient and effective than the old methods of using stone and chiselling out the words. We could more easily keep records and our ideas because of our great innovation.

China is also responsible for creating the seismograph. This profound device would impact the world greatly in future generations. The seismograph is very helpful in preparing for earthquakes along with measuring them. We were more prepared and ready for the earthquakes that were coming because of our device. We were also able to measure the magnitude of the earthquakes after they had happened. Studying the patterns of earthquakes and how they affected us is very important.

Another reason why Ancient China was definitely superior to all of the other civilization is our Great Wall. This wall was built with the utmost spectacular architecture. The wall is over 13,000 miles long. I don’t know about you, but I personally think that our wall is amazing. The Great Wall was very important in helping our civilization stay protected. It was a great defense against our enemies.

Gunpowder was created in China as well. This would lead to revolutionizing the weapons and wars. Although gunpowder was not created on purpose, it has made a huge impact on the world. While trying to find something that would make themselves immortal, the Chinese researchers came upon a substance that exploded. This was the discovery of gunpowder. Many great things were discovered and invented in Ancient China. These are just a few of the many things that make us superior to everyone else.

You may be thinking, ‘what about the pyramids in Egypt or the great leaders in India?’ I don’t think that these things are nearly as important as the achievements of China. The pyramids are cool. I’ll give you that, but they don’t have much of a purpose. They are tombs for one family or person. The amount of time and resources put into this selfish building is horrifying. There were some great leaders in India like Asoka, but there were also so many amazing, strong leaders in China like Shi Huangdi. He even built the Great Wall! The people in Mesopotamia didn’t do that much that impresses me. They created some math equations, but China created paper, a trading route for many people, and a Great Wall.
